The script DeadMans Redirect is a Web Search script (run your own search engine).
DMR is a portal page creation sytsem.
DMR acts as a jack of all trades form, which allows for URL redirection as well as an interface to various search engines through its aliasing system.
A DMR user can create aliases to any web/ftp site, compltee with functional arguments.
DMR keeps a history of all the URLs passing through it, so youll never lose your place due to an unstable browser. The user interface is created within DMR, using regluar HTML which can be as simple or as advanced as you like.
The autohr recommends that it be served from a machine on your LAN for fastest access to the Web.
